What Began as a small whisper from God, Has grown into a full time ministry! Several years back, as I was placing clean, warm socks onto my feet, I heard the Lord remind me of the many days during homelessness I did not have clean socks, and sometimes no socks at all!

Its such a small thing, right? Socks.... but I knew there was more need than just socks. I first approached our Pastor, and asked, " Could I approach the congregation with the vision God had shown me. "... And first, it had to be my own testimony, and how God saw my needs, and chose to deliver me from a life of hopelessnss! I knew I would never be the same!

Upon sharing this vision of meeting the needs of the homeless, I had to choose who.... who were we going to reach? One door after another were closed in our faces as to who would receive the BLESSING of God... so many rules, we couldn't pray, we couldn't minister, we couldn't even come into the building...etc.

And, then one afternoon as my husband and I drove into Philadelphia... the surroundings slowly changed before my eyes as we came closer to the city... pretty sidewalks turned into garbage strewn walkways... what began with people smiling and strolling in their community turned into people sleeping in heaps, all of their possessions tucked securely underneath them... it was then that my heart broke, and that still small voice once again reminded me.... and I knew...Philadelphia!
